The China-Italy New Energy Cooperation Forum was successfully held

Recently, the "Insight into Green Energy: China-Italy New Energy Cooperation Forum" jointly organized by Chinese and Italian enterprises was successfully held in Milan, Italy. The meeting focused on the iteration and development trend of new energy technology, large-scale project development and grid connection issues, as well as new energy investment and financing and other hot issues of market concern, and put forward targeted solutions and policy suggestions. More than 100 government officials, business representatives, experts and scholars from China and Italy attended the event.

Beijing People's Daily Online reported that Geng Xiewei, Counselor of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Consulate General in Milan, said in his speech that in recent years, China's new energy development has achieved positive results. Wind power and photovoltaic products have strong competitiveness in the international market. At the same time, Italy, as one of the most important member states of the European Union, has always attached great importance to green development. It is hoped that the enterprises of both sides will take the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Italy comprehensive strategic partnership as an opportunity to jointly tap the potential of cooperation in the field of new energy, give full play to their respective advantages, and promote the economic and social development of China and Italy.

Yan Dong, CEO of China General Technology Italy and China Machinery Europe Italy, deeply analyzed the current situation, prospects and market opportunities of the development of the Italian photovoltaic industry. He said that General Technology Group, as one of the first Chinese-funded enterprises to set up an institution in Italy, will give full play to its comprehensive advantages in business integration and channel resources, and comprehensively penetrate the upstream and downstream links of the new energy industry chain as a project developer and investor, project contracting and operation and maintenance provider, supply chain distribution and service provider, etc., leading the domestic high-quality new energy manufacturing industry to seek common development with local partners in Italy, and contribute to the energy transition in Italy and Europe.

It is reported that the forum was jointly organized by General Technology Italy, a subsidiary of China General Technology Group, China Machinery Europe Italy and the Italian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and all parties conducted in-depth discussions on the issues of concern to the Sino-Italian new energy industry from multiple dimensions such as macro policy, investment and construction, trade and distribution, and technological innovation.

Participants said that the forum provided an important platform for China and Italy to enhance market consensus, expand investment channels, strengthen mutual benefit and win-win results, and contribute to a green, low-carbon and sustainable future development model. Fan Xianwei, Secretary General of the Italian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, said that he hoped that through this exchange and discussion, he would further explore the potential of cooperation between China and Italy in the field of new energy and sustainable development, and promote the global development of new energy technology.
